Well, I escaped another family trip. It was crazy, as always. My siblings drove me up the wall. We went off course a couple of times, and then there was that memorable incident at a gas station.
I'm drained, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. We have pictures to prove it.

My laptop is officially silenced/turned off/put away. Emails can chill until I get back. Social media will just have to do without me. If you need me, leave a message on my answering machine/in a bottle/with the voicemail fairies. Otherwise, consider this your official notification/warning/reminder: I'm out of office/gone fishin'/living my best life and will be back whenever I feel like it.

Sometimes, the best/ideal/perfect escape isn't a place/location/spot at all.
